Originally known as Menke Processing, the business started out in 1960's as a grocery store and meat processor, where they slaughtered and processed local beef, hogs and lambs. Menke Processing was purchased in 1985 and was renamed Brandon Meats & Sausage. Over the years to keep up with the demands of the growing business, Brandon Meats has evolved and grown while still maintaining the friendly service and charm found in the original small town grocery store. Currently owned by Ryan Redmann and John Benson, Brandon Meats and Sausage is a full service, old-fashioned butcher shop. Carrying on the tradition of high quality meats and friendly professional customer service, Brandon Meats continues with their time tested recipes to produces some of the state's best award winning specialty sausages and smoke hams.
