Hogs and lambs are humanely slaughtered Mondays , appointments are a must. Cattle are slaughtered on Wednesday, by appointment also. All animals must be in by 9:30 a.m. A live weight scale is available for all animals at a minimal cost. Slaughtering is done under supervision of Wisconsin State Inspection and a USDA HACCP program (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point).
August, November, and December are Brandon Meats' busiest time of the year due to the Fond du Lac, Green Lake, and Dodge County fairs as well as our local Alto fair. Therefore, during these times of the year, some custom processing ceases, or schedules may change.
Hogs are processed on Tuesday. Cutting orders must be in by 5:00 p.m. on Mondays. Beef are aged 7 to 14 days and cutting orders must be in as soon as possible. All processing is custom cut to your needs and is shrink wrapped for longer freezer life.
